Fencing Contract
All our quotations are subject to the following conditions.
Acceptance of our quotation implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
PAYMENT
Payment of the whole price quoted is the responsibility of the person who placed the order whether in writing or verbally.
Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice.
SITE
The customer is responsible for locating and identifying all underground services such as electric cables, water pipes, gas pipes, drainage, etc. Whilst care will be taken when digging, South Coast Fencing Limited will not accept responsibility for any damage or costs of repairs to services.
The customer should also provide protection or remove plants, furniture or ornaments which may impede the works or are at risk of damage.
PERMITS
It is the customer’s responsibility to identify the correct fence line and communicate with neighbouring property owners; we can not be involved in boundary disputes which normally cause delays and added costs to a job; these costs will be chargeable.
SITE CLEAN UP
If included in your quote and stated so, we will remove old fencing and any waste from new fencing. Spoil from post holes will either be spread (if not intrusive) or taken away.
CANCELLATION
Upon acceptance of quote specially made items will be produced, including but not limited to: Panels, Gates & Trellis and non-stock items will be ordered from outside suppliers. If such items have been processed for your order and installation is cancelled, you will be liable to cover these costs and in the circumstances of cancellation being of short notice a cost will be incurred to cover labour that would have been assigned.
