It is with great sadness that we have to inform our customers that our Office Manager Emma Macklin passed away over the weekend after a long, but brave battle with cancer.
Many of you have known and worked with Em for a long time, and she had a great rapport with all of our customers and trades alike.
Em’s passing has left a very big empty void in our hearts. She was a wonderful colleague and an absolute fighter to the very end. She was determined to carry on with life as normally as possible despite her illness, and her strength and determination to the end was unreal.
A page in tribute to Emma has been set up here where donations to Winchester Hospice can be made in lieu of flowers. It also includes details of Emma’s funeral service which is on Friday 22nd September at Wessex Vale Crematorium.
We will be closed all day on that day.
